Ukraine, April 2016.  I was in Sumy attending a European Youth project, aimed to face the theme of refugees and IDPs. When not inside a room discussing and working with the group, I pointed my eyes to the surroundings. Sumy is a town on the east border of the country, almost touching Russia. Its Oblast (region) has been welcoming a fair amount of displaced people from the Donbass region, where civil war erupted in 2014.  In all 2016 there was a lower number of casualties registered, although by early 2017 the conflict bursted again.
